Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 19, 2026These Terms govern your use of the Mechia mobile and web applications, business-management tools, public storefronts, booking pages, payment-link pages, and related cloud services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts and Authorized Use
You must provide accurate registration information and be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Mechia for a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it. You are responsible for protecting your device, sign-in credentials, and verification codes, and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access through the support page.
2. The Mechia Service
Mechia provides configurable tools for activities such as sales, inventory, expenses, staff, customers, bookings, reports, public commerce, and other enabled business modules. Features can differ by device, region, subscription, business type, and availability of third-party services.
Some features work offline and synchronize later. You are responsible for checking that important records have synchronized before replacing a device, clearing application data, or uninstalling the app.
3. Your Data and Responsibilities
You retain your rights in the business and customer information you enter. You authorize Mechia to host, process, transmit, and back up that information as needed to provide and secure the service.
- You must have a lawful basis and any required consent to enter or process information about staff, customers, patients, guests, or other people.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of prices, taxes, inventory, payroll, financial records, bookings, and other business entries.
- You must configure staff access appropriately and remove access when it is no longer required.
- You should maintain exports or other records required for your business, accounting, tax, health, employment, or regulatory obligations.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Mechia to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, send unlawful messages, commit fraud, bypass access controls, probe another tenant's data, disrupt the service, or offer prohibited goods or services. You may not attempt to obtain service credentials, reverse engineer protected service components except where the law permits it, or use automated traffic that harms service availability.
5. Payments and Third-Party Providers
Mechia can record payment methods and connect a business or customer to independent payment providers. Unless a checkout expressly states otherwise, Mechia is not a bank, card issuer, telecommunications operator, or custodian of customer funds. A payment provider processes the payment under its own terms, fees, settlement schedule, refund rules, and privacy policy.
The business using Mechia remains responsible for fulfillment, pricing, refunds, taxes, disputes, and customer-service obligations relating to its products or services.
6. Subscriptions
Paid plans, modules, billing periods, currencies, and prices are shown before purchase or in the applicable subscription agreement. Recurring features may be limited or suspended when a subscription expires or payment fails. Any mandatory cancellation or refund rights under applicable law continue to apply.
7. Third-Party Services
The service relies on providers for infrastructure, storage, notifications, analytics, communications, maps, and payments. Their availability can affect related Mechia features. Links to a third-party site or service do not make Mechia responsible for that provider's content, security, availability, or conduct.
8. Service Changes and Availability
We may improve, add, change, or retire features and may perform maintenance. We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, tenant data, the service, or comply with law.
9. Intellectual Property
Mechia and its software, designs, documentation, and branding are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose while your account is active. They do not transfer ownership of Mechia technology or branding to you.
10. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
You may stop using Mechia at any time. Account owners can request deletion in the app or through the web account-deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security risks, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Data is handled after closure as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis. Mechia is a business tool and is not a substitute for professional legal, tax, accounting, medical, or financial advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Mechia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, third-party services, unauthorized device access, or inaccurate information entered by a user.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, security, or legal changes. The date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice before a material change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Rules and Contact
Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights in your place of residence are not limited by these Terms. Other governing-law or dispute provisions stated in a signed business or subscription agreement take priority for that agreement. For questions or notices about these Terms, use the official channel described on the Mechia support page.
